Welcome to Janning Family Chiropractic! We’re excited that you’re considering a visit to our office. Check out what to expect here.
Prior to your first visit, we ask that you complete your new patient paperwork in full. The more information we have about your health history the better that we can serve you! Please bring your completed paperwork and your insurance card with you to your first visit.
We like to think of the first visit as a discovery day. During this visit Dr. Janning will take the time to develop an understanding of your overall health history and your current health state. Then he will spend time discussing how chiropractic works and specifically how things are done in our office. We believe that the more you know about us, and the more we know about you, the more equipped we are to help.
The last part of the visit is the most important. This is where our comprehensive examination is done. It will include a scan using the Insight Subluxation Station TM which allows us to see if there is any subluxation (stress) on your on your nervous system and how it is affecting your body.
The main part of our first day visit is to evaluate your spine and central nervous system, determine how it is functioning, and find where the stress and challenges are that will need to be addressed.
From there Dr. Janning will go over all of the information gathered from the first visit and create a specific treatment plan to address your current health challenges. The first visit is very comprehensive, but should still be finished in about an hour.
On your second visit Dr. Janning will go over all the results of your examination. We refer to your second visit as your Report of Findings. He will explain the results of the scans that were performed. During the explanation, he will explain how it is related to your specific condition or challenge.
From there he will go over the details of your treatment plan and answer any questions that you have. We highly recommend asking questions as we go through this with you, as you will be re-scanned throughout your care plan. During this time, Dr. Janning will go over financials with you. Whether you are on insurance or are a cash paying patient, we make the care as affordable for you and want you to have no surprises.
After all of the details are gone over, that will be your first opportunity for your first adjustment. The entire second visit should take about a half hour.
These appointments are kept short and efficient at only 5-15 minutes. Every aspect of the care in our office contributes to the process designed to restore your health and wellness.
